StudioBinder allows you to add a custom scene synopsis to your stripboard. This gives you a quick way to summarize scenes, track story beats, or communicate important production notes without modifying the screenplay itself. Follow along to learn how!
Step 1 ⏤ Open strip menu
Hover over the strip you want to edit to reveal & click the more icon (⋮), then select Edit Details from the drop-down menu.
Step 2 ⏤ Write a synopsis
In the Synopsis field write your custom scene synopsis.
Step 3 ⏤ Save strip details
Scroll to the bottom of the overlay & click Save Details.
Note: Now, anytime you import or sync a new version of the script, as long as the scene numbers stay the same, this custom synopsis will be retained.
