StudioBinder allows you to customize the time of day listed for any scene directly from the stripboard. For example, if a scene initially scheduled as “twilight” is being reshot at “sunrise,” you can update that detail right from the stripboard
Note: Changing the time of day will change the color of the screen strip.
Step 1 ⏤ Open strip menu
Hover over the strip you want to edit to reveal & click the more icon (⋮).
Step 2 ⏤ Select edit details
From the drop-down menu, click Edit Details.
Step 3 ⏤ Update time of day
In the pop-up, click on the current time of day listed under D/N to access the drop-down menu, then select a new time of day.
Step 4 ⏤ Save details
Click Save Details to apply your changes
Step 5 ⏤ Confirm screenplay update
In the pop-up, choose whether or not to update screenplay, then click Save Details
Note: Choosing to update the screenplay will modify the scene heading in your screenplay editor.
Step 6 ⏤ View updated strip
The color of your scene strip will change to reflect the updated time of day, which will now appear in the I/E & Day column on the stripboard.
