What's the difference between an admin & a member?

Learn what permissions teammates have

Written by Mark

StudioBinder offers two teammate roles: Admins and Members. Each role provides a different level of access to projects, users, and company settings. Understanding these roles helps you give team members the right permissions while maintaining control over your account. Follow along to learn more!

Admin

A teammate assigned as an Admin will have access to all features for every project on the account. You can check if a teammate is an admin by viewing their role on the Users page.

Member

A teammate assigned as a Member will have access to all features to only the projects they have been invited to or have created on the account. You can check if a teammate is an member by viewing their role on the Users page.

Note: To add additional users/teammates to your account, you must first upgrade to one of our premium plans.
