Script updates are bound to happen. With StudioBinder, you can import a new script version to your stripboard whenever there's a change. If you get an updated screenplay while scheduling, just follow these steps to import it through your Stripboard.
Note: If your updated screenplay has different scene numbers &/or sluglines, it will replace all the old scenes with the new ones & change across all aspects of your project. Your work is not lost or deleted; in fact, you can roll back to a previous version of your stripboard.
Step 1 ⏤ Open more options
Click the more icon (⋮) in the top-right corner of the Stripboard page.
Step 2 ⏤ Select import script
Click Import Script from the dropdown menu.
Step 3 ⏤ Choose your file
In the pop-up, click browse or drag and drop your updated screenplay file.
Step 4 ⏤ Select your file
Click browse or drag and drop your screenplay file into the overlay.
Note: You can import your screenplay if it's a PDF, .sbx, .fdx, or .fountain file.
Step 5 ⏤ Update name
Update your screenplay's name, version & or version color if you like, then click next.
Step 6 ⏤ Click update script
Compare the new version against the current one, then click Update Script to import.
