After you import a script, StudioBinder automatically assigns characters to the scenes they have dialogue in, but what about the characters who don't speak? You can assign them by using the navigation strip in breakdowns.
Step 1 ⏤ Click cast ID's
Click any of the cast ID's numbers in the toolbar at the top of your screen.
Note: Cast Member ID's are listed in your Navigation Strip based on who speaks in the scene.
Step 2 ⏤ Select characters
Click the checkbox next to a silent character's name you want to add to the scene.
Step 3 ⏤ Review & confirm
After adding the character, their cast ID will appear in the top toolbar.
