How to manually add a daybreak

Learn how to manually place daybreaks in your Shooting Schedule.

StudioBinder lets you insert daybreaks to break up your shooting schedule by day. This way, you can group scenes by day for better planning. Follow along to learn how to manually add a daybreak!

Step 1 ⏤ Open strip settings

Hover over a strip to reveal & click the more icon (⋮). Then click Insert Day Break Under from the drop-down menu.

Step 2 ⏤ Add details

Adjust the shoot date, start time, or description if needed, then click Create Day Break to finalize your changes.

Note: After the start time is set, the start time for each scene will automatically update when the estimated times are entered. 

Alternate method

At the bottom of the stripboard, click + Day Break, then follow Step 2.
