How to color-code calendar events

Learn how to change the color of any event

Studio Binder allows you to customize your production calendar by color-coding each events. This way, you can visually distinguish between different events on the timeline. For example, you can use blue for writing events, yellow for camera prep, and green for casting, so that your teams can scan and interpret the schedule at a glance. Follow along to learn how!

Step 1 ⏤ Open an event

Click an event on your calendar to open it.

Step 2 ⏤ Open color editor

In the event, click the paint bucket icon to open the color editor.

Step 3 ⏤ Select a color

Click any color from the Change Color palette.

Step 4 ⏤ View updated event

When you close your event, it will appear with the updated color.

Note: If the color of the event is not automatically updated, refresh your page (Command + R - Mac, Ctrl + R - PC) and the new color will be applied.
