How to create a shooting schedule

Learn how to create your first shooting schedule

StudioBinder lets you use stripboards to create and manage shooting schedules. You can coordinate a multi-day shoot by reordering scenes on your stripboard, adding day breaks, and adjusting timing to optimize each day on set.

Note: If you've written your script in StudioBinder view how to sync your script to the project.

Step 1 ⏤ Import script

On your stripboards page, click Import Script.

Step 2 ⏤ Import script

Choose a script from your computer to drag & drop into the overlay or click Browse to search your computer library.

Step 3 ⏤ Name your screenplay

In the pop-up, enter a name for your screenplay and click Next to confirm.

Step 4 ⏤ Import your screenplay

Click Import Script to upload your screenplay.

Step 5 ⏤ Create a schedule

Click + New Schedule to start creating a new shooting schedule.

Step 6 ⏤ Create schedule

In the pop-up, enter a name for your schedule and click Create Schedule to confirm.
