How to use the shot tagger feature in shot lists

Learn how to tag your script while you're shot listing

StudioBinder allows you to tag specific lines of dialogue or action from your script directly to shots in your shot list. This makes it easy to connect each shot to the exact moment in your screenplay for quick reference during production. Follow along to learn how!

Step 1 ⏤ Preview Scene

Click the Preview Scene Icon.

Step 2 ⏤ Highlight text

On your scene preview, highlight the specific dialogue or action you want to tag.

Step 3 ⏤ Tag & add

In the pop-up, a Description will automatically populate with the text or action you highlighted in the preview. Add a subject if you like, and click Add Shot to tag it.

Note: If you want to tag a specific line or word, you can edit your description.
