How to move a frame in storyboards

Learn how to move any frame on your storyboard

StudioBinder allows you to rearrange storyboard frames to visualize the flow of your shots before finalizing your shot list. This makes it easier to refine your sequence and see how your story unfolds. Follow along to learn how!

Step 1 ⏤ Select a frame

Click on the frame you want to move. A blue outline will highlight it to confirm your frame has been selected and is ready to move.

Step 2 ⏤ Move the frame

Click and hold the highlighted frame to pick it up & drag it to the new position.

Step 3 ⏤ Release the frame

Release the frame to drop it into its new position. Your storyboard will automatically adjust the order to reflect the updated sequence.
