So you just signed up for a company plan and wondering how to add your teammates, right?
Sometimes you need to invite your team members to work on projects with you to speed things along. For example, this is convenient when you need to work in tandem with others and have multiple productions, or if a teammate is helping with tasks. So how do you create multiple profiles under one account? Follow along below to learn how.
First, upgrade your plan
To add additional users on your account, you must first upgrade to one of our Company plans.
Adding a Teammate
Step 1 – Click "+"
On the Teams page, click the "+" on an empty teammate seat.
Step 2 – Enter Teammate Information
Enter their name, email address, and personalized note (optional). Then click Invite New Teammate.
Step 3 – Set Permissions
Choose whether the teammate will be an Admin (will have access to all projects on the account) or a Member (will only have access to projects they have been invited to or have created).
Removing Teammates
Step 1 – Select Teammate
Use the checkbox to select the teammate you would like to remove.
Step 2 – Click Remove
In the toolbar, click the Remove button.
Which plans support Teammates?
Currently, the Individual memberships (Starter, Indie, and Professional) do not provide Teammate functionality. You must be subscribed to one of the Company plans to add a Teammate to your account.
What privileges does my teammate have?
Teammates assigned as Admin will have access to all features for every project on the account. Teammates assigned as Member will have access to all features to only the projects they have been invited to or have created on the account.
I want to assign tasks to crew but I can't, why?
Keep in mind that a contact is different than a Teammate. Currently, you can only assign tasks to a Teammate on your account and not talent/crew contacts.
Are teammate seats recyclable?
Yes, once a teammate has been removed from a seat, that seat can then be used to invite someone else.
Best practices when inviting teammates
If you're inviting a teammate that is already a StudioBinder customer, the best option would be for them to downgrade their account to the Free plan, then invite them to your account.
