Learn how to add a new scene to your stripboard

If you are looking to add a new scene to your stripboard, StudioBinder offers to ways of doing this on the Stripboards page.

Add a Scene Under

If you would like to add a new scene in between existing scenes use this option.

Step 1 — Click the more icon

On your Stripboard page, click the more icon.

Step 2 — Click Add Scene Under

In the drop-down, click Add Scene Under.

Step 3 — Create your new scene

In the overlay, enter the necessary scene information, then click Save Scene to add a new scene to your shooting schedule.

Note: StudioBinder will automatically append an alphanumeric scene number so the existing scene numbers as well as any tagged elements are not affected.

Add Scene

Use this option if you would like to add a new scene to the end of the script.

Step 1 – Click Add Scene

At the bottom of the Stripboards page, click Add Scene.

Step 2 – Create your new scene

In the overlay, enter the necessary scene information, then click Save Scene to add a new scene to your shooting schedule.

Note: All new scenes added to the schedule will be placed at the bottom of the stripboard.
